2020 English Research Symposium
On Jan. 6, 2020, members of the English Education course held their annual English research symposium. Selected students presented research related to English education in Japan and global issues, all in English.
The event was opened by two study-abroad students from Cambodia. They presented about life in Cambodia and Cambodian customs.
Five native Japanese students also presented.
Topics included waste management, why elementary school students want to study English, how much students enjoy learning English, and young carers in Japan. Students and teachers asked questions to the presenters.
Final comments were delivered by the Course Leader, Tsuji sensei, and the university’s Vice President, Dr. Igawa.
