A typhoon is approaching to Osaka

Under the circumstance when more than one condition described below is fulfilled, the classes will be cancelled.

 

1.The condition for the cancellation of the classes

(1) Natural Disaster

・In the case when an emergency warning(s) (for either or both heavy rain or/and storm) is (are) issued in Osaka Prefecture.

・In the case when a storm warning is issued.

(2) Interruption of Railway Communication (Except for partial interruption and delays)

・In the case when Kintetsu Minami Osaka line is interrupted.

・In the case when more than two following railway companies are interrupted within Osaka Prefecture; Kintetsu (except for Minami Osaka line), JR West, Osaka Municipal Subway, Nankai, Hanshin, Hankyu, Keihan.

 

2.The Measure of the Cancellation

When the storm warning is called off by 5:59 a.m., the classes start from the 1st period.

When the storm warning has been issued between 6 a.m. and 8:59 a.m., the 1st and the 2nd periods are cancelled and the classes start from the 3rd period.

When the storm warning has been or is issued after 9 a.m., all the classes after the storm warning is issued are cancelled on that day.

・We will NOT send the notification of the cancellation of the classes on IBU.net. Please kindly refer to the condition above to judge if classes will be cancelled or not.

・Please kindly refrain from making inquiry about the cancellation of the classes by telephone.

・We will apply the same condition above for the closure of the Abeno Harukas Satellite Campus and the Fujiidera Station Front Campus.

 

Note: The condition above is only applied to Shitennoji University.

          When commuting, please pay attention to secure your safety.
